Tandoori Spiced Chops



4 Garlic cloves
1 Yellow onion, quartered
2 tbsp Ginger, chopped
1 cup Plain yogurt
2 tsp Garam Masala
Salt and Pepper
½ tsp. Cinnamon
½ tsp. Ground cloves
Lamb loin chops, 4, each about 1 inch thick
Olive oil, optional


  • Preheat a grill to heat. In a food processor, combine first six ingredients and pulse to combine.  Season and Set aside.
  • Rub remaining ingredients on the chops, season with salt and pepper, and place on grill.  Cook on each side for 4-5 minutes for medium rare.
  • Remove lamb and serve with sauce.  Garnish lamb with drizzled olive oil if desired.
